Holland said, “ I am set to play Fred Astaire. Last week, the script was completed and I have not read it yet. It was not handed over to me yet, but eventually I will be given the chance.”

“Our incredible producer Amy Pascal has already got the script. Earlier that day, we talked on FaceTime. I was in the bathroom when she called and we had a lovely conversation on FaceTime,” he added, also referring to Sony producer Amy Pascal.

Acting prowess and accolades

However, aside from playing Peter Parker in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, the actor is also known for his acting prowess in other films including The Devil All The Time, Cherry, and The Impossible, the latter in which he was nominated and won several awards for his performance in the film.

Despite being a newcomer in the Hollywood scene, the actor has shown versatility in acting and other skills required in film. In fact, he is well-known for his ability to toggle between his British and American accents seamlessly which is an asset needed in being casted to more roles.

Promotional campaign for No Way Home

Tom Holland is currently in the middle of his promotional campaign for Spider-Man: No Way Home, the third outing in the MCU Spider-Man films.

He said in the interviews that the film will be unlike any other that the audience have ever seen.

Although most fans have been convinced that the rumors surrounding the possible appearance of Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield is true, the actor keeps on neither confirming nor denying the rumor to not spoil anything about the movie, a habit in which he was very notorious about.

Many fans are so excited to watch the film in the theaters and it will be an early Christmas gift to the fans if the rumors are true.

The appearance of actors who have played the villains in the films of the previous iterations of the character has cemented the hype surrounding the film. Spider-Man actors Willem Dafoe, Alfred Molina, and Jamie Foxx will reprise their previous roles as The Green Goblin, Doc-Ock, and Electro respectively.

Also, the appearance of Benedict Cumberbatch as Doctor Strange and the appearance of Charlie Cox as The Daredevil strongly suggest that the film is all about the breaking of the multiverse which represents the crossover of elements from previous Marvel properties.

Relationship with Zendaya

Holland was in an interview in London on Sunday along with his Spider-Man co-star Zendaya. Zendaya and Holland are currently dating just like their characters in the film.

Zendaya, who played Mary Jane in the film, has expressed her gratitude for the film because if it wasn’t for the project, she would never have found the love of her life.

“I am eternally grateful to the Spider-Man films, because if it wasn’t for that, I never would have met Tom Holland,” said the actress during the interview.
