Wedding on Live TV
“We just started shooting our new show, Paris in Love, on Peacock and we’re shooting in New York just now, actually, and getting ready for the dress fitting and just planning the bachelorette party. There’s a lot, “ the heiress revealed on Asiaone Singapore.
She added, “So I’m excited to share that with all my fans.”
She confirmed “Yes” when asked about whether or not her wedding will be aired on live TV.
“You know, I’m not your traditional bride. There has to be my little Chihuahua, Diamond Baby,” she added.
Her Prince Charming
Paris deemed Carter as his “Prince Charming” and revealed that she never found someone like him before.
“You’re going to make me cry by asking a question like that. I’ve never met a man like this in my life,” when asked about how she felt about his caring of her.
“I’ve never been with someone who loves and supports me so much, and lifts me, and isn’t intimidated. He is just my best friend and my prince charming all rolled into one.”
A Hilarious Mother
Paris’ mother, Kathy Hilton, on the other hand, became a favorite of the fans of the latest season of the show The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. The DJ also revealed that she loved watching her “humorous” parents in her appearances on the show as a guest.
“My mom is so hilarious and so much fun and that’s really where I get most of my sense of humor from. That’s just how she is! She’s a character, and I love watching her on the show. She’s so funny,” told the former socialite.
A Hurtful Past
It’s been more than two decades since the leakage of her viral sex tape that she knows will hurt her for the rest of her life.
Hilton, a 40-year old socialite, and her former beau Rick Salomon filmed the intimate video in 2001, and Salomon released the video on DVD in 2004 without her consent and she acknowledges that “she felt like her life was over” when the tape was released.
“That will always be something that will hurt me for the rest of my life. It’s always there in the back of my mind,” she said in a Vanity Fair interview.
“When it happened, people were so mean to me. The way that I was spoken about on nightly talk shows and the media, to see things with my family was just heartbreaking. I would be in tears every single day, I didn’t want to leave my house, I felt like my life was over.”
She also mentioned that she trusted him and thought that the video will always stay as a “private experience between two people” but she was wrong and now she is still suffering from post-traumatic stress disorder because of the video.
“It was a private experience between two people. You love someone, you trust someone, and to have your trust betrayed like that and for the whole world to be watching and laughing,” she added.
“It was even more hurtful to me to have these people think that I did this on purpose – that killed me. It still gives me post-traumatic stress disorder to talk about. I had always looked up to these amazing women like Princess Diana and I just felt like when he did that to me, he took that all away from me and people would never look at me the same.”
Her Venture into EDM
To escape from her experiences and scandals, she ventured on being a professional DJ when she met her rumored boyfriend and friend, EDM artist Afrojack. She cited that EDM or Electronic Dance Music made a huge impact on her life and considered dj-ing as a therapy.
A More Peaceful Life
Now that she is living a more peaceful life and seeking redemption away from the limelight she knows that her experiences are still a part of her life despite being a very famous public person. She revealed that she is now more happy and content with her soon-to-be husband, Carter Reum.
